Background
Our senior academics are taking the lead in raising the profile of the University and its reputation for teaching, research and the student experience. The student experience is further enhanced by the multi-million pound investment we have made in a brand new flagship Library and Student Services Centre and new Sports Centre.

This role is key to delivering our new strategic plan for the development of the University, particularly the growth of our international and partnership activities – you have the opportunity to play a major part in shaping our future.

The Role
As Dean you will be leading this thriving faculty, providing academic leadership and day-to-day management of the academic portfolio in arts and humanities. This will include research, taught programmes and knowledge exchange activities. You will also make a wider impact as a member of the University’s Senior Management Team, reporting to the Pro-Vice Chancellor (External Relations).
